Hi! I am a 42 y/o female mother of 4. I work night shift in the ER as a nurse and I have been yo-yo dieting since I was 15. Doesn't seem to stay off...surprise...need some support and encouragement from others in the same boat.

Mary,

Thank you for your support in my dream. I am trying to make it a "goal" and less of a dream... tough work though.

Hi there,

I saw your post about working so many hours a day plus a one-hour drive each way making it difficult to get in time for Bible study. I just wanted to suggest you get material on cassette or CD (whatever your vehicle is equiped for).

I bought the Bible on cassette one summer when we were travelling three weeks out west, and the next year we had a different vehicle with only a CD player and so I bought it on CD. At home I sometimes listen to it while reading along (same version obviously) or while exercising.

I also have other types of inspirational material to listen to in the car (music, speakers, sermons, etc.) and it helps me keep the flow during the day, especially if I don't have time to really sit down and study properly.

Happy New years : )
