Remembering Why I Started

Hi All,
My name is Meagon and I'm the mother of two amazing children and have been married to my soul mate for 5 years as of October 2013. When I first started on this journey I had reached my highest weight of between 255-260 lbs (w/ a broken scale that's my best guesstimate). Got a new scale and was doing great at keeping up with my exercising and eating right, even lost 25 lbs putting me at 229.6 in Nov. 2013, then I got off track and now I'm back up to 233.2 lbs...I'm determined ...
Hi All,
My name is Meagon and I'm the mother of two amazing children and have been married to my soul mate for 5 years as of October 2013. Got a new scale and was doing great at keeping up with my exercising and eating right, even lost 25 lbs putting me at 229.6 in Nov. 2013, then I got off track and now I'm back up to 233.2 lbs...I'm determined to get back on track and remember why I started this journey in the first place. I could really use all the motivational support I can get...Any tips on keeping will power up so I can figure out how to avoid junk food would be great. Hoping this time is more successful and I am able to stay on track without slipping back into old habits that have gotten me to this point of my life. Look forward to watching all of my spark friends progress as well.

oh believe me I would love to just play it off like its easy *chuckles* But part of my program and journey is unflinching honesty, thats not to say I still don't try to hide things on a daily basis, but it doesn't hurt anyone but me.

Besides I think its important for people to know that although from the outside it may look easy, its not. I struggle just like everyone everyone else does day in and day out.

I am not different or more special than anyone else on here, the only difference there maybe is I get back up and do it again the next day. I admit its not EVERY day, I have my flaws and I miss some days here and there, but for the most part I get up everyday and either keep going or start over fresh where I am.

Anyone can do this, its just a matter of taking action. I used to wait to be "motivated" so I could accomplish things. If I waited to get motivated I would never get anything accomplished *chuckles* to me motivation is doing what needs to be done regardless of how I feel. Motivation is not a feeling, its about taking action regardless of how I feel. good, bad, sick, well it doesn't matter. Sometimes I really have to push through, and I don't always give it 110%, sometimes I just barely get by.

Anyways glad I could put a smile on your face, good choice and action with lunch, i have found all the bad stuff tastes so good. I just have to stay away from it, I am not able to put it down once I start.

Honey I don't wake up with this attidue ;) it takes a lot of fricking hard work. I wake up in pain, grumpy and nasty and wonder why I should even bother.

Then I realize what my options are

1. I can keep pushing forward despite how I feel
2. I can sit here and wait to die

I have to be honest neither one of them is real attractive to me *chuckles* but I have to go with #1 over #2 any day of the week.

I don't always start my day feeling positve, some days I'd burn the whole thing down if I could. But I get up and go through my routine, I pray, do my meal plan, write my sponsor and do my emails and postings. Through the course of that and talking to folks like yourself I drag myself up out of the funk and get the job done. It starts off kinda rough but in the end if I put the work into it I find the positive. thank you for the add, I added you back :) Have a great weekend
