Learning so much more about myself as I learn to change my choices. I started out thinking this was about losing those extra pounds I had packed on (again!), but it has become about so much more.

Learning so much more about myself as I learn to change my choices. I started out thinking this was about losing those extra pounds I had packed on (again!), but it has become about so much more.
Update 10-20-12 I reached my goal weight the beginning of this month. Now my initial goal begins: to not yoyo as I have my entire life. My first commitment has begun as I have started getting rid of my too large clothes. At first this was easy, but as time goes on it has become a little harder to so easily let go of those clothes that are perhaps two sizes too big. Determined to make it this time!
Update 11/11/2013 Over a year of maintenance and I have made it. Just the past month the scale has started to climb, so right now grabbing hold and getting back to where I need to be. Working on the physical end of things as health issues have slowed me down.
Update 10/25/2014 Again needing to address the area of yoyoing as I have gained and lost and gained again 10 lbs over the past 6 months. My current goal is to have only one set of clothes that fit and not have to go back and forth between two sizes. I only recently decided on my top weight and now need to lose to get back down to staying below it.

Learning to delay enjoying something is a new skill for me. Either I have it or it is of limits. The idea of making it work in the next day's food plan is a different way to approach it. Although you and your kaluah is a different story!

Thank you for the comment on my blog. Nobody tells you how hard this maintenance is. Or that it is a minute by minute process and losing control is way too easy. Good wishes for resisting the holidays temptations

thanks for the info on the pmdd....like I said, it's here and there, hit or miss, nothing trackable, but it's def on the radar if it gets worse now that I'm in my 40s. Thanks for listening to my vent!

It is the magnesium that helps. I have seen lotion with magnesium in Walgreens next to the epsom salts. Next time I'm there, I'm buying it. I have an appointment for Saturday for a massage with my friend the massage therapist. She does trigger point massage. She makes me cry it hurts so much, but I always feel better. If she weren't such a good friend, I probably would have bailed on the massage long ago.
