Hey MJ emoticon
I am going to steal just a minute here to say heyya...busy as usual :P ..nothing compared to what you have going there though my friend.
BTW I don't seem to have any mental details on the wedding ..like where it wil be or if it is a big one? dinners and family stuff for days or just quiet and simple?
And the recital? will that be back home or is that where your at now kind of thing?
I loved the story about P and the eels...a kid after my own heart..bait for a confirmation gift although I think maybe L had the right idea there emoticon
Sorry to hear about the housing situation..I take the gal is still not moving out as yet?
I finally and getting a few things in the garden. I am only doing about maybe half of what I would normally do this year..just to many variables going on atm to have a huge commitment out there but I do feel good to see some of it getting done at least...3 of the 4 gardens are done as of this morning but not one planter/container has been done yet..
Yesterday I got a nice surprise as P invited me for some fishing. He wanted to do an overnighter but I didn't trust my RA enough to stay away from home on my first try out (good call on my part as I DID end up with quite a bit of pain in the night and was awake a lot..finely figured out how to handle it better next time though emoticon )
Anyway we went to one of our favorite old stomping grounds, the weather was lousy (didn't care) the fish weren't biting (only caught one) and my left hand/wrist hurt every time I had to do or undo my seat belt..but we had a really good time anyway :D I was amazed at how well my heart and my stomach both behaved (ate an entire hamburger and some onion rings for lunch and was just fine..what a difference all these meds and the stents are making in my life whew!)
We want to try the same thing again maybe next week Tues/Wed and if I can I will do the overnight thing this time...the weather may not co-operate either so we shall have to see...if we don't hit it then then we start getting booked up for nearly 2 weeks likely so wish me luck on that one :)
Okay ..all the time I have now ...oh we are riding out the weather pretty well..a couple of little sleep nights but not too much damage so far...it all pales to the OK situation..
Take care of you with all things going on and don't stray to far away ..always love to hear from you (wanted this to be a mail just didn't have the time to do it right :( )
Hugs Lisa

Hey MJ emoticon I can't believe that I have actually found a moment to stop by and say hello :D I have caught up with all my peeps that I needed to and have been feeling well enough that I am 'slightly' caught up with my housework stuff...is normalcy around the corner lol too much to hope for probably.
So I am hoping that all is well with your company. You didn't say how long they would all be there for..sounds like a house full to me.
I got to wondering about your golfing and I realized that I don't know if any of the rest of the family golf besides P??

No my exhaustion has not been of the 'fun' type' no fishing and no gardening yet anyway...our weather has been just NUTS..11 days ago the tulip festival was completely ruined because we had MAJOR snow and all the tulips got buried in snow and the all the parades were cancelled and they are a really big deal and then yesterday it was a record breaking 94 degrees...this weekend supposed to be in the sixties..go figure lol..I have only managed to put in some onions and that is ALL

The exhaustion is partly running to appointments and trying to get caught up but mostly it is related to the taking of Prednisone...on of it's side effects is not being able to sleep and so I just sleep whenever I can..most of the time I am awake by three and often times earlier than that but that's not all..I also wake up like every hour and am up for a long time..the good news is this is a temporary situation I should only be on it for two more months, by that time my permanent med will have finally built up and I will be weaned off of the Pred. I can hardly wait there are all kinds of other side effects also..

Okay that's all I have time for now, have some chops and turkey to grill..if the wind will co-operate :D

Catch me up when you can...I am certain that you will be busy with company for awhile so just when you can...one of these days I will find time for a real mail I hope.

Hugs Lisa

I tried golfing left handed when we were on vacation. I borrowed my nephew's clubs and I stunk. I have much better form and accuracy with the right handed clubs. Strange, huh? I am not too competitive either, just go out there and have fun. I'e only done the 9-hole and 18-hole courses which is a lot of walking!

Thanks for stopping by and checking on me! Things are going well so far, though I'm still not used to getting up, getting dressed, and ....having the whole day to do the things I've been wanting to do! Am doing even better at my eating and exercise goals, so that's encouraging.

Yes, it's amazing. I'm still a little nervous about the whole thing - though the budget SEEMS to work just fine with a little discipline - and I think part of my discomfort is just thinking that I SHOULD be working. This is still new. What I want to do is to redirect that energy into more writing and more marketing of those pieces...that's where I need the prayers. :)

What about you - how's it all going? Time for a new blog? :)

Thank you again for visiting and checking on me, MJ. It's great to know you're there.

emoticon emoticon :) Gail
