Getting There

At my heaviest I was 205 lbs, I've been down to 155. I want to get back on track and get to a place where I feel good about myself. It's a process.

Hello,
Thanks for your protein post! Some of the things you mentioned are already on my favorites (yeah edamame!) but I'm definitely going to add string cheese, soy nuts, and possibly switch my yogurt from regular to greek. Yummy suggestion to add cranberry too! I'll also have to check out herbalife, but I do have to say that the genetic whey from WFs wasn't so bad.
Anyway, thanks again. Enjoy your holiday and time with your sister!

Hi,
You offered advice on more protein? I don't eat much meat (not a strict vegetarian but I do it for environmental reasons) so that option is kind of out. Someone suggested protein powder. I tried spiru-tein vanilla and it was terrible; the chocolate was slightly better. The guy at whole foods told me to buy whey protein powder last night, so that's my next step.
Other than that I do the usual: tofu, cheese, peanut butter, granola and supplement bars, but any other suggestions you have would be GREAT. thanks!
