The ultimate people pleaser

My name is Meredith. I am a mother of two boys. I am very active in their lives as well as voluteering in the community. I tend to be such a people pleaser that I focus so much on others needs and forget about my own. I need to start focusing more on my needs. My weight has gotten so out of control! I realize that if I do not get a handle on it now...I won't be around for my family in the future.

i'm sorry it's taken me sooo long to get back to u. i've had such a difficult time getting back on track since the holidays, and it's just recently that i think i'm finally getting back into the swing of things =). how have you been? it's been so long since the last time i left you a comment; it's great hearing from you! i'm glad to hear about your plans to start losing weight again. that's so awesome-- i know you can do it! be sure to keep me up to date w/ how things go =). u know i'm cheering you on, girl!

Hey Meredith,
Despite going out to the mall and the bartender buying me drinks, I have stayed within my ranges successfully. Today has been the hardest, because we are cleaning out leftovers and I feel compelled to not let this stuff go to waist. I am already up to 950 calories and it is only 1pm. Ric and I will be making a salad for dinner and he is making home-made pizza, a bit healthier. I worked out today and did strength training and we are taking the kids sledding later. I think it will be easier when we are back at work again and the kids are back at school, less time to sit around and eat or stand at the fridge.

Thanks so much for bringing me to Sparkpeople. I know we can accomplish our goals when we support eachother. You are great at everthing you do in life, and I know this can be something you can be great at as well.

hey meredith! wow, i can't believe it's been almost a month since i last checked in... sorry! how's july been for you so far? i hope u're doin' great! i reached my birthday goal (30lbs lost!) at the beginning of the month, but i've only lost 2.5lbs since then =/... BUT! i'm still pressing on =D... welpz, update me sometime and lemme know how you've been doing, 'k? take karez! *^.^*
