Edit on April 27th, 2013- I'm back! Since taking a break in 2011, I maintained the goal weight that I'd reached with spark for over a year, but since starting a new job, my weight has slowly been creeping up and up. So it's time for a tune-up! I started creeping towards 150 and I put my foot down! Been back on track for about a week and have made it down to 145 today. Hope to keep going back to the low 130s, where I feel more comfortable. Here goes!

Edit on 10 February- I've been on spark people for over a year now- and this is officially the most consistent I've EVER been on a "diet". It obviously doesn't feel like a traditional diet- it's just been a shift in the way I live. I've lost 20 lbs and kept it off the entire year. I'm around 135 now, and hope to lose another 10 lbs. The last 10 lbs have been far the toughest, but by adding in progress pics I'm able to actually see changes even when they don't show up on the scale. I'm energized and ready to go for the next year!

Edit on 26 April- I feel like I'm in the home stretch here. Finally within 2 lbs of my goal weight and 30 lbs total lost. I'm proud of how far I've come and can honestly say I'm in the best shape of my life. Now I'm preparing for the scary/unknown part of this journey- I finally have to tackle how I handle maintenance. I've gotten so close to my goals before, only to fall apart towards the end. Not this time. This time I WILL maintain what I've accomplished. I'm declaring this "Maintenance May" and I'm going to focus on going the whole month weighing at or below my 30 April weight. Time to practice and give my body a chance to get used to this new (awesome) weight!

Eliminate sugary candy
Eliminate diet soda. Cook more, eat out less
Watch portions.

My Program:
Replace sugary candy with dried fruit.

Replace soda with sparkling water. Re-focus on this goal in Oct. 2010. Edited on 26 April '11- Refocus AGAIN in May '11 , and AGAIN in May '13!

Workout in the morning most days of the week.

Add a fun ST DVD in the evening. (Using David Kirsch's One on One Series for Upper Body/Abs and Lower Body, and CORE Fusion)

Personal Information:
I don't have a real goal weight, more like a goal "feeling". I'll know it when I reach it! Edited on 26 April- I think I've found it!- ultimate goal weight set at 125 (with a range from 124-128) . I've never been athletic (super, super clumsy and it seems as though my center of gravity is in my forehead), but I really want to be "fit". I want to see muscle and finally feel toned.

    So, I got myself some new Vicky Secret bikinis (YAY FOR A BIKINI) in the mail today. They are soooo cute! I tried them on and feel pretty darn good about them, although I clearly see I need to work on my hips and butt. And THEN, my 7.5 year old said to me "Mom you look really good in that swimsuit...buuuuuut your butt is really big and jiggly." Gotta love him...and God bless him, he's right. This is where you come in...I need the BEST booty workout DVD that you know about. I'm still gonna do the Ab April thing...but the other days, I'm doing Booty Control. Help?!?

    Thank you!! The test at the doctor's is the same haha. The only difference is that they can draw blood and monitor the growth...but they cannot predict a healthy pregnancy. I go in on Monday :)
