Hi, am a 28 year old mother of two very hyper boys. This is my first time on Spark, (ok so this is my second time around) and I hope to accomplish my goals that I have set. Ok, second time around on spark, but this time I am here to stay. I lost focus sometime last year, but now I am not only in it to loose weight but for a lifestyle change. I want to be able to look back and say that I finally stuck to it and at it ever since.
Now that I have learned to love myself no matter what I weight cause hey if I dont love myself then who will? Right. Anyways, now that I am finnaly looking forward to what my future hold no one can stop me now, I am in it to win it. I know that I have to make this lifestyle change not only for myself but for my kids as well.
I'm getting older but I am also getting wiser. I want my kids to say "mommy you actually did it, and I am pround of you," things has been very hard for me last year with all aspects of my life, but I am getting stonger and I have learned from ALL of my mistakes. I commit to making my lifestyle changes, I will no longer say "I should do this", I will now say "this is what I am going to do," NO MORE THINKING. This year is the year of the doing. I will reach my goal before my 30th birthday, I plan to reach my goal before I go on vacation in December to Dominican Republic. Although, it took me awhile to come back, but now that I'm here, I am here to stay, and as we have experienced in this last couple of months ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

My goals are to eat healthy excercise more, and to be content with myself. I have a six year son and a four year old, but I can see that I have my oldest son going down the wrong path. I want to be an example for him, I changed our eating happits, and he is showing results quickly since he is so tall.
I have been doing cardio and weight training 5-6 x's a week,I have started going to the gym again, I have been following this really good book called "Weight Training the work out the works Volume II" and I have to say it has really helped me. My weight training is guided by this book and although I just started the book I can see some changes, and LOVE the elliptical machine. I am active with my kids by taking them to the park, I try to swim, but I gave up I don't remember how to swim, isn't that funny especially since I live in Miami, Fl.
I am currently eating 6x times a day, I do 3 meals a day and 3 snacks. (11/26/07) gave up red meat and white rice (replaced with poultry and fish and brown or wild rice) finally (hope that it can stay that way). If I get home after 7p.m. I will just have a protein shake, and of course I do my serving of fruits and vegetables throughout the day, and I drink 14-16 cups of water a day.
