Beginning a Journey

Hello! My name is Ashley, and I'm beginning a journey. I've struggled with weight off and on my entire life, and I'm ready for that struggle to be over. I'm on a mission to lose 60 pounds. That will put me down to my college weight. Of course everything won't look the way it did in college (I have had a baby since :) ), but I want to feel as good as I did then. Hopefully better! My Goals:
To be a healthier version of myself. Goal weight: 140 pounds. I want to fit back into my college graduation dress. That would be the ultimate!!!

P.S. I want to be featured as a SparkPeople Success Story once I hit goal! That would be amazing!!!

My Program:
I'm exercising (mostly walking) 4 - 5 days per week.

Eat: My diet is a work in progress. I'm cutting calories and fat. I need to cut my sugar intake, but that has been a challenge. Getting rid of the excess sugar is my next goal.

Good morning! I just wanted to say thank you for stopping by my Sparkpage. It is nice to meet you - I am glad that I can be an encouragement to others. If I can do it, anyone can. I've been on Sparkpeople for a year and two months now. I had been overweight most of my life. What I weigh now, I didn't even weigh when I was in high school!

The most important thing to remember is that if you have a bad day, or a bad week or whatever, just to dust yourself off and to keep on going. Take it step by step, day by day, and enjoy the journey.
