It's time for a new inlook

I am 54 years old and have struggled with the ups and downs of weight gain and loss for most of my life. Through self reflection I have found that I am relying on others to determine how I feel about myself. I make others priorities my priority and don't focus on my own needs. It's time change that focus and look inward to fulfill those needs. I cannot make the world happy but maybe if I am happy my world will be a better place.

My goal is the focus on self-awareness to deal with the emotions that make me turn to food to feel fulfilled.

1. Meditate to increase self-awareness.
2. Exercise to increase strength and reduce stress.
3. Keep healthy foods in the house and easily available.
4. Track foods
5. Keep it simple

Other Information:
I love to get out and be connected to people. When home I love warm scents like cinnamon, a cozy place to curl up with a good book, and sweaters.

I agree; I definitely think that I handle the loneliness of traveling better than I did before. Of course, I don't eat the sweets and carbs that I used to, but I also don't have the DESIRE to do so - and that is half the battle!
