My goal is to feel better about myself. To be healthier, more active, and to keep up with my friends and family.
I previously lost over 40 pounds following the South Beach diet. I can also attribute that weight loss to medical treatment for hypothyroidism and increased activity. New Plan: Do 1 mile Walk Away the Pounds every morning plus ST when scheduled + 2 more miles when I get home from work + 30 minutes on the bike. THAT ought to jump start my metabolism.
I am a 2nd grade teacher in Miami, Florida. I have three sons, ages 34, 32, and 24.
I love to read (not active) and walking on the beach (active but I can't do this every day.) I like to go to the mall and walk while I shop (or window shop).
