Losing for Speed

Hi, I'm Misty, and so far I've lost almost 40 pounds over the past three years. I've gone from being a non-exerciser to doing marathons and triathlons.

I'm looking to lose 15 pounds more to help make me faster.

My Goals:
I'm trying to get down to 145. I'm not sure how reasonable this is, so it will be interesting to see! I've been at 160 pounds or so for nearly 3 years now.

My Program:
I taught myself how to run in 2005, and now I swim, bike, and run and try to burn more calories than I eat. This is quite an undertaking, because I eat just the worst kinds of foods.

Personal Information:
I live near Albuquerque, New Mexico. I'm a life coach and mental health counselor.

Other Information:
I recently resigned from 9 years of teaching to do something different with my life.

I live in Coeur d'Alene and have volunteered to help with the Ironman the last 2 years. Seeing all the athletes inspired me to sign up for my first sprint tri next month. Congrats!
