Powerlifting Mom

A new year is coming up so time to update the page.

Still going strong. The primary focus has been gaining strength and I've maintained weight while doing this.

This year I want to ensure I drop down a weight class for powerlifting, so I am a bit more aggressive on the nutrition front so I can minimize muscle loss while dieting down.

Have only been tracking cardio on Spark but all my weight training is logged at Fitocracy now.

Previously lived on Andrews AFB, MD and I grew up moving up and down the West Coast.

57 year old powerlifter here! I compete in WABDL but I am thinking of branching out a little next year. It's tough as I don't want to travel for a meet. Anyway...beast mode baby! Keep lifting!

Well, way to go! Sounds like you had a great race. I think I may want to do Savannah again someday. I did six HMs this year. Now it is time to regroup and rehab. I'm not a young chickie anymore - LOL If we are down there in time this year, I may do the Critz Tybee half. You? Keep in touch.
