My Fitness Tracker
After more than a year of tracking everything I am going offline now. Will try to see if the changes I've made have really become part of my life or not. In other words, do I really have to count calories in/out every day in order to stay fit and healthy? I think it's time to find out.

My Goals:
My goal is to be healthier and stronger than last year and to drop a few inches off my waistline.
My Program:
I quit smoking and started walking. I decided to start trying to eat healthier as well.
Personal Information:
I have MS, a disease that causes my immune system to attack the protective covering on my nerves. This causes different symptoms in everyone - depends on which nerves are being attacked. I am fortunate that so far, this disease has been very mild in me. My fitness goal is to build up a reserve of strength so that I can try to stay ahead of the degenerative curve.
Other Information:
Last year (2009) I went from fearing that I would never walk unassisted again to completing a 9.5 mile hike with some friends. I know that with a little support I can accomplish anything - so can you.
