UPDATE 5-9-2012 HELLO, EVERYONE. It's been a couple years, and let me say, I am about to jump back onto the wagon. Not sure if I should resubmit my progress, or get to where I left off and become "active" again with pictures, etc. Just wanted to let you know, I'm back! _______________________________________ I lost 32 lbs in my first 8 weeks! UPDATE 5-9-2012 HELLO, EVERYONE. It's been a couple years, and let me say, I am about to jump back onto the wagon. UPDATE 7/24/08: I HIT 50 LBS LOST so I went shopping and bought a pair of SIZE 8 Levis THAT FIT! UPDATE 8/10/08: I HIT 24.9 NORMAL BMI @ 168.5 lbs! ***NEXT 8 WEEK PICTURE RESULTS ON OCTOBER 3 2008*** Food for thought: Treat your weightloss like a pregnancy in reverse. Dedicate 40 weeks to the cause, giving birth to a NEW YOU. Catch the "I can do it" mentality. We all know it takes 40 weeks to reach full term in pregnancy. Of course, at certain points along the way, you get leg cramps, difficulty breathing, there's restrictions from amusement park rides, etc. Where am I going with this? Well, there were many times I didn't want to be pregnant anymore, but, the choice to give up WAS NOT THERE. I denied myself many things, but, what was waiting for me at the end was a beautiful, healthy baby. I count my weightloss in weeks...like a pregnancy in reverse. I'm 32 weeks right now. If the changes in my body were a pregnancy, I would still have 8 weeks left WITH NO OUT. I just apply the same concept to these positive changes and VOILE...I'm dedicated to the cause! This concept is how my Sparkteam, "Pregnancy IN REVERSE" was birthed! GOOOOOO TEAM!
