Stamina, strength and (hopefully) weight loss.

I've struggled with eating my entire life - even when I was a kid I'd sneak into the biscuit tin whenever I was bored or distressed. I managed to lose weight once before when I was a teenager, mostly through exercise, partially through not eating enough. Not a healthy way to do it.

I'm not one for diets. I do want to enjoy my food. But I don't want to rely on it like I have done. Food should not be a way to control how I feel, it should be the (tasty) fuel for a life that helps me ...

As for exercise, I found swing dancing (Lindy Hop) nearly half a decade ago now. I've been promising myself for a long time that I would get fit so I would have more fun and be able to do more as a dancer. Now's the time.

My Goals:
I want to reach my ultimate goal: to do a handstand. That means being a weight that my arms can support, and having the strength to lift myself.

My Program:
I will record my food on the Spark website, and use that as a guide for how much extra exercise I need to do.

I will do what I can with pyschological excercise to rid myself of this food / mood dependence cycle.
