Vegan Diet for 2012!

My life since high school ended has been a weight rollercoaster. I never much worried about my weight before graduation, at 5'7'', weighing 150 at the most. By the time I finished my bachelor's degree I was pushing past 160, and by the time I had my master's and began my teaching career I was pushing past 170. My life since high school ended has been a weight rollercoaster. I never much worried about my weight before graduation, at 5'7'', weighing 150 at the most. By the time I finished my bachelor's degree I was pushing past 160, and by the time I had my master's and began my teaching career I was pushing past 170. My breaking point came in the summer of 2009, when I came back from a vacation in August, saw pictures of myself from the trip, and was horrified at how heavy I looked, topping out at 178. Several things coincided in my life at that moment; a bout of depression, going on some medications and off others that all helped me lose weight very quickly, coming in at 137 by the middle of November 2009. I thought I had finally made it, having reached my goal. Then, I stopped being depressed, switched medications around again, got into a new relationship with plenty of restaurant dates, and suddenly, 8 months later, a year come full circle, I was back at 178 again in August of 2010!

After spending the last few months attempting to lose the weight again and having little success, I decided to join sparkpeople after talking to a friend who is having success with it. I have to do something that will be lasting because I am sick of feeling uncomfortable in my body.

My name is Missy, I'm 31 years old, and I live in CT. I'm a 4th grade teacher. I have a wonderful boyfriend Gary who I've been dating for two years. My vices are ice cream; I could eat it twice a day every day, going out to eat excessively, and just overeating in general. I love food! I love the taste and the texture and can eat way past full and still enjoy myself. I'm here to get thin and strong. I can't wait to love and enjoy my body!

what can i do to support you this month? do you have any idea's that you like from the other rounds of sport bra sparkies that i should do? open to idea's . how jamie eason program going ?

How did you like Jamie Eason's program? I haven't heard of that one yet! :). I was thinking about going Vegan...going to do the Quantum Wellness Cleanse (it's a book at the cleanse is 21 days)..at the end of the 21 days, I'd re-evaluate. But I really want to do a vegan diet..I was worried before about stressing myself out too much about food, but I really want to for ethical reasons (and healthy obviously). Thanks for the compliment about the bangs! I have been doing very well...kinda slacking with the healthy lifestyle..but maintaining :). Thanks for asking sweets!

Buns and thighs is gud. Level 1 and 3 are easy to me but level 2 is hard that shud have been level 3.
