My Goals:
I would like to run one 5k in 2011. I want to set an example of exercise for my family.

My Program:
I am tracking all of my food and water. I am working on the Spark People 5k training program and using my Wii Fit for cross training. I am determined to not let fear run my life. I will face all my challenges head on.

Personal Information:
My husband is a youth pastor, so our schedule is crazy. I love my life! Our family recently moved to rural Southern Indiana from California and I'm trying to find running trails where I can take my kiddos in our jogging stroller.

I was only able to do one day last week :( We STILL have the funk around here. Stephen is still pretty sick and I'm almost well. I would go today but he still had a nasty cough and is very congested. I can't wait til my house is well again!

That is awesome that you have your workouts planed! That makes is so easy. When you have to do it on your own it makes it so much better to have a plan. I meet a friend M & W for treadmill/bike cardio and Tuesday is kickboxing with weights on W or Th. My goal is to workout every weekday, but that has been impossible with the sick kids. Hears hoping we can both have good workout weeks :)

Hi there! Did you get back to the gym last week? Today was my first day back, and Rob and I kicked out a GREAT workout. I finally got smart and wrote a 6-week program where we're working MWF. Every Monday we do the same thing, every Wednesday the same... You get the picture. It is so nice not having to THINK about what you're going to do, you just get to do it. I guess that is what I paid Nigel to do for me, but he's confident I can do my strength stuff by myself. Now I get to do crossfit style workouts with him. Yay.

Thanks Leeta! I am feeling much better. I only worked out 2 days last week and we had a HUGE eating weekend. Elie got her second tooth yesterday and she was sick so it was a little rough. She seems much better today. She's close to back to normal. I'm hoping to get back to the gym this afternoon if she is up for it :) It's hard working out when you have sick kiddo's. Thanks for the encouragement!
