I am SO SICK of my life-long weight rollercoaster, folks! This time I'm doing this for GOOD. Every pound lost is forever barred from my body. I WILL BE A SEXY PIN-UP GIRL AGAIN!!!! I am a Done Girl and proud of it!

-The Weight Timeline-

-As a toddler, I became a very picky eater. My mom was paranoid and literally scared I would starve to death, so she let me eat whatever I wanted, which was pure junk. I jumped up six clothing sizes in the summer of 1988, when I turned 4 years old.

-Between May and October 1998, I lost 50 pounds with the Richard SImmons Deal-a-Meal system, and kept it off for 5 years. I was skinny for the first time in my entire life, but I didn't see myself as healthy and vibrant. I saw myself as a whale, and I continued to have poor body image.

-Between mid-2003 and May 2004 I gained all the weight back due to severe depression. So I started doing cardio, eating healthier and tracking my carbs, and after a year-long plateau, I finally dropped back down to 140 pounds.

-Gained 20 pounds between 2007 and 2008, lost 10 pounds, then gained 50 more until I officially weighed in at 210 on August 28, 2009. Lost some weight but wasn't super-serious about it.

-July 7, 2010 - Joined SparkPeople. I dove headfirst into it and did cardio three-four days a week and counted calories instead of carbs. Every month, more inches dropped from my body and I dropped two jeans sizes.

-December 17, 2010 - Completely fell off the wagon when I officially immigrated to Canada. I was so overjoyed to be back with my husband and everything I loved that I just... forgot about trying to be healthy.

-May through September 2011 - Got my Spark back and did Weight Watchers for a while, then switched to a lower carb diet and lots of exercising including Jillian Michaels DVDs. Lost some weight and 5 1/2 inches total.

-Rest of 2011 and into 2012 - Completely lost motivation, got on antidepressants, and gained a gazillion pounds.

-August 2012 - Got more serious than I've ever been in my life after being depressed over seeing awful photos of myself. I kicked my arse into gear, bought healthier food, started tracking my carbs again, and began exercising.

- October 2012 - December 2013 - Fell off the wagon again and was half-hearted with eating right and exercising. Back on the wagon now!

After that, who knows? It all depends on where I stand with this fat and flab hanging off my poor organs and bones. I could still be a ways away from my goal, or I could be almost there. Whatever the case, I will continue to eat healthy and exercise for the rest of my life. I will NEVER allow myself to get fat again. This is ridiculous! I have spent most of my life being fat and unhealthy, and I'm so sick of it. Never again.

Long Term:

- Learn to eat healthy and stop succumbing to high-fat, high-sugar, high-carb foods at the drop of a hat.
- Lower my risk of Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, etc.
- Be healthy for my first pregnancy.
- Eat as few processed foods as possible.
- Firm up with muscle tone.
- Fit into size 6 jeans (currently at a snug 18)

I am on a high-protein, low-carb diet known as Dr. Poon's Metabolic Diet.

I will be following exercise programs such as the 30 Day Shred and supplementing with walking.



Personal Information:
I am 29 years old. I moved from Virginia to Canada to be with a wonderful man I met online years before, and we've been married nearly 5 years now. No kids yet, but we do have five cats. I'm a major geek, a goofball, and I love sparkly pink things.
