Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a thoughtful comment. I'm with you - I don't think comments about personal appearance are really appropriate in a professional work environment. It's just a little tricky finding the words to discourage that sort of conversation without coming across as rude. Although I don't know why I should worry about that so much, when the initial comment is a bit rude to begin with!

Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment on my blog about exercise. You are right that I need to look at exercise in a different way, not just the formal ‘gym’ style exercise and your list of possibilities will help me a lot. In particular, although I don’t have a yard sadly, I do love gardening. In my city, Brighton in the UK, is a large exotic building, mixture of Chinese and Indian style architecture, built as a seaside palace for George IV, with huge and lovely gardens and you have reminded me that I could volunteer to work there a couple of times a week with the others. A good start that could lead me elsewhere. So thank you for the thought. emoticon
