In response to your wondering about empowerment with weight loss/getting in shape. I find when I am doing things to improve my physical well being I am also psychologically improved and when I my psyche is improved I am more empowered to accomplish stuff I want. Walking out of the gym after a good workout there is a bit more bounce to my step, I feel great about myself globally. When I moved back to Chicago area, I was in pretty good shape and landed a job I really wanted with the pay I wanted. I think it was a result of feeling good about myself. I didn't settle which I would feel right now if I was applying for a job. 10 days ago
Potato chips are one of my kryptonite foods which I pretty much had to quit eating 'cuz of allergies and sensitivities to ingredients in the processing of them that aggravated my tachycardia (intermittent racing heart--don't want another A-Fib incident so no processed potato chips) . Last year in a SP blog I learned I could make my own in the microwave which I do ever so often. Pretty sure there are several variations in the SP recipes.
