Hey just wondering if you are still around and if you are still doing the vegan thing? I went back to being a vegetarian and its so much easier this time around! I think Im just a far more superior chef in the kitchen than I was back then. Not that I was bad but IM great now lol. So I was just wondering how it was going etc. Ciao :)

wow that is a very low amount of protein, I was not vegan before but vegetarian and it was a hard change and I too was super tired for at least two months. I know a doctor who is an allergy specialist and she promotes the macrobiotic diet, she told me it was my body shifting from acidic and yeasty foods to none or very little so the living yeast in me was screaming out that it needed more basically. And how it did it was by sucking all my energy making me think I needed junk for that boost. Now I eat closer to vegetarian than not, but its just more affordable since I have a family. when my husband is away for a year I rarely eat meat so its easier. Just listen to your bodies needs, soda is really a bad idea, if you can kick it, do it. It takes time to get used to this, lentils lentils lentils lol.

I was just reading another good reason for you or anyone to go Vegan or Vegetarian or just cut down on meat consumption. "Something like 100 times the amount of water is needed to produce 1 pound of meat, compared to 1 pound of grain. " from Vegetarian Times, Jan 2010 issue.
