Losing weight to find myself!

I've been a member of Spark people for awhile now but have still been unable to commit myself to bettering my health. I have this horrible love for food. Especially the worst kinds of foods. My weight is starting to creep up on me and my days are spent feeling slow and sluggish. I'm ready to change that what ever it takes, I'm ready.

I haven't always been a girl on the heavier side in fact I used to be quite active and in shape. Those days of dancing and playing sports ...

My weight is starting to creep up on me and my days are spent feeling slow and sluggish. I'm ready to change that what ever it takes, I'm ready.

I haven't always been a girl on the heavier side in fact I used to be quite active and in shape. Those days of dancing and playing sports seem long ago in the past. I can remember how I felt about myself and I want to work on getting that back. No more start and stop diets that last a week, my plan is to start of with baby steps. First focus will be to keep myself conscious of the foods I fuel my body with and my physical activity. It's time to take charge and responsibility.

It's been a while since I've had motivation. And I'm feeling a little lost as to where to start my journey to health and fitness, so if you have any advise or motivation please feel free to leave a comment.

My biggest struggle is FOOD. So I need to tackle that I know it won't happen overnight so I will take baby steps.

1st goal--Keep a Food Journal & Write out my weekly food plans

2nd goal-Fit in workouts 5 days a week & record them

3rd goal-Lose 15lbs by July 2011






My Program:
**Food: 1200-1400 cals a day-Meal plan will be healthy, nothing too fancy for the 1st month, I will just try and get my body and mind on track.
**100 oz water a day
**Cardio-30-45 mins-4-5 times a week
-Couch25K program
-Elliptical trainer
-Walking
-Try Jillian Michaels 30 day shred (start 4/5)
**Strength- 3 to 4 times a week
-Body for Life program
-Self Video-Bikini Ready, Fast
**Yoga-try it on days off from working out
