Personal Information:
I live in WA state in a little town called Port Orchard with my husband, Dale, a sweet Japanese chin named Blossum and a weird cat named Meeco. I spend most of my time divided between church, housework, volunteer work at a nearby retirement home. I have two grown daughters who have left home and state, a darling granddaughter and a beautiful new grandson!!!

Other Information:
My most favorite thing to do is crotchet and watch old movies. Especially the happy ones, although I do love a good mystery once in a while. I also spend time reading, mostly mysteries. My motto for this year is, "If it needs doing, do it!" I'm trying to break this habit of procrastination I have developed over the years. Being heavy gives a person all sorts of excuses-I don't intend to hold onto this fat, so there goes the excuses!!!!

Thank you so much for you kind words on my blog. I was able to help him by suggesting who to talk to "charge nurse" and what to ask for "geri chair" so that he could get some sleep. They finally provided him with one around 1 this morning.

My own experience with my husband in a nursing home for 18 months, helped me learn from trial and error who might be most helpful. He has now worked out with them that he can stay in the room with his brother, which is actually a help to them.

Lori! Thanks for your encouraging and uplifting words! As a matter of fact, I committed to walk in the park at least 3 days a week for at least 20 minutes a day starting this morning, Wednesday June 25! Woohoo! I asked my dear husband if he wanted to join me and he said yes! Praise God! We're taking 2 puppies along, Chico and his first pup Amy! Poor Sarah doesn't get to come along because she's nursing her new 7 day old baby, Tita! Tita's precious and is a very much welcomed addition to our family. It's Chico's last baby!

God bless you and keep you Lori! In Christ's name. Amen! You're an awesome SparkFriend and I love you!

Oh, and yes we have a Wal-Mart in Laredo Texas, 40 miles northwest of here! I'm definitely gonna look for Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds DVD on our next trip tomorrow, Thursday June 26! Thanks a lot for your continued encouragement. Talking to you was one of the primary reason's I I finally got on the ball! Thank you Sweetie!

Lori, thanks for dropping by today! I used to want to try Leslie Sansone on Youtube, but I no longer have room in the office/exercise room where I have TV , computer and DVD player since my dear husbank moved his cot in! emoticon Well, I do have some room, about 12x5. You think that's enough room for Leslie? Seems to me she used to move side to side and back to front in her space.

I do have a Spark video of Coach Nicole that I one on the spin of the Spark wheel that I used to do. But wouldn't be able to move so much,ie, couldn't travel much but a little. Hey, I forgot about that. Thanks for the reminder of videos! Forgot all about that! REALLY! emoticon I do think I could make it work as well as Leslie Sansone WATP! What a great idea! Thanks Sweeite! When there's a will, therte's a way, right!?

Lots-a-love,
Cathleen emoticon
