Becoming a Primalista!!

For the last 12 months I've been slowly working away at improving my health and fitness, eating better, cutting out a lot of that excess sugar in my life, and trying to maintain some balance with my crazy travel schedule. I haven't lost weight, but I also haven't put on 10kgs this year like I did last year....

Fast rewind to 2 wks ago, surfing the Net looking for grain-free dog food for my darling old diabetic Boags (13yo whose pancreas gave out on him last yr), and what do I ...

And thus kicked off a sharp turn in my journey towards health and fitness.......

My Goals:
To get rid of all that weird processed food in my world by following a Paleo/Primal type lifestyle. This is not a diet. This is a complete and permanent change in how I think and manage my food.

To play around with my carb/fat/protein ratios and exercise rates to find a level where:

a) I am happiest,
b) I lose weight
c) after losing weight I maintain easily







My Program:
Track food intake daily

10,000 steps daily

3 strength-training sessions per week

Eat good quality food, heaps of fruit and veg, and keep away from as many processed foods as I can!



Personal Information:
I am now based in Perth, Australia after working in Africa full-time for the last 15yrs

Other Information:
Fall down 7 times, get up 8
