I've been on SparkPeople since November 2009. There has been alot of changes in my life since then; some good, some bad, and some life changing/halting moments.

I'm starting back at SP a little heavier - last April I was 219lbs, I'm now 233lbs. Life took some pretty bad turns in 2013 and I'm just now starting to pick myself back up out of the grief and depression and start wanting to get out around people again. I know and am not blind to that fact that there is going to be some really bad days ahead but I know for my family I have to get healthy and be present for them. Blog coming to explain when I get a few moments alone.

My Goals:
Overall Goals:

*Complete a 5K in 2015

Ultimately my goal weight is: 150-160.

As you can see, I haven't put down any month to month weight goals.
The real goal is to just keep moving and the weight will come off.




My Program:
What I've added: more raw veggies/fruits. More cooked veggies. 2 salads a day, fruit for breakfast and every other dinner is meatless.


*Workouts: Due to some pretty serious injuries (torn elbow tendon from when I had tennis elbow and last April I slipped on ice while running and did some damage to my shoulder (silly me didn't go to doctor so healing has been long and painful) so I've had to full change up my workout plans. So for now I'm concentrating on walking, the C25K program, strength training and anything do be active with my kids including Nordic Walking. From late spring to fall when the weather co-operates get out hiking and taking in these great provincial parks.





Personal Information:
I live in Ontario, Canada. Steps away from beautiful Georgian Bay.

Do to my elbow I had to give up a job I loved as a dietary aide in a retirement home. Instead I now do customer service (call center type) from home part-time.
