This morning, I finished my Spark 8-week 5K Rookie Running program and got my trophy -- ooooh, some bling already! Race day is one week and counting. Today's practice 5K run was done in 35:25. Eight weeks ago, I never would have thought I could do that! Stick with the program. You are so WORTH it!
How are you doing with week 1? I remember being so sore the first several weeks. I only have some occasional calf tightness in the morning now. I slowed down my pace tremendously (doctor's orders), so my knees aren't so sore anymore.
