HI! I saw that you replied as a mother of a special-needs child! As a fellow mom of a special-needs child, and a runner, I thought I would add you! Your family is beautiful!!

My son has an extra 15th chromosome. So, certainly not the same as your daughter's, but a genetic abnormality as well. He is 4, and just a wonderful, beautiful, happy little boy. It wasn't easy accepting that he wouldn't be like other children when he was a baby (and first diagnosed), but we have long since come to accept him and love him just the way he is. We have him in lots of therapy and a great pre-school for special-needs kids to help him along, but we are at peace with whatever his outcome is. He is a precious gift.

Have a GREAT WEEKEND! Looking forward to getting to know you more!
-Darcy

Thank you so much for your encouraging words on my blog about my 1st 5k. And love those adorable pumpkins in your pictures (and the carved ones too).
