My Goals:
After learning that I have degenerative disc disease in my lower spine, I have had to revise my 2015 goals. I will spend the winter training and strengthening my back, and this summer I will participate in 3 triathlons and bike at least 1,000 miles.

My Program:
My priority is health, and getting in shape. I want to enjoy life as I enter my later years, and good health is key to that.

My focus is on physical activity, and getting moving. I'm not going to diet; dieting is a failure waiting to happen. Instead, I am practicing aware eating, emphasizing good food choices, and NEVER putting anything in my mouth unless it's delicious!

Other Information:
I am an avid reader and also love to cook. I make quilts and do some beadwork. Autumn is my favorite season, and purple is my favorite color.

I know I know.. and trust me I did not want the pills, but when she was telling me all about them (like a pusher) I said ok... I broke.. I though give it try.. you know the dropping under 1000 calories is for people who have never dieted before maybe I don't recommend it.. My body is so screwed up from my 20s when I starved my self or would go on juice fasts.. and or abusing pills.. such as laxatives.. I know I am paying for it.. Not sure if you read that response where someone gave me this link

I used to grow sprouts years ago too and then stopped. It is amazingly easy to do and so much better than buying them because you have more control over the quality and freshness. A lot of people posted on my blog about how much they like them in sandwiches instead of lettuce. That's a good idea, particularly in the winter when I can't grow lettuce outdoors. I hope you decide to get back to growing sprouts. They are amazingly cheap too for a fresh veggie.
