Hi. Yes, the work I mentioned is pretty much my responsibility even when my husband is stateside. But he does the home repairs, new construction, remodel, and electrical stuff around the house. Plus he works and brings in the money. My full time job is this place and the animals so I take my reward in their loving expressions.
My husband has been in Iraq since the first of November 2009. It is getting a little old I have to admit. We are really each others best friends too so it's almost like I'm missing two people.
I know what you mean about trying to be "good" away from home. Either you're eating in a restaurant or someone's home, either way your choices are limited. And who wants to think about fat and calories when you're on a vacation. But we all pay for it when we get home. Ugh. On that cheerful note emoticon I will wish you best of luck on your weigh in, I'm sure that what ever the result you can take charge and keep the pounds coming off.

I know what you mean. My exercise comes in the form of ranch work. Around here I lug hay around to the barn critters, clean stalls, stack hay, drag hoses around filling water troughs, keep the invasive natural plants at bay, nurture the ones I plant, prune and water, mow, mow, mow. So I don't go to the gym, but I do yoga and hula dancing, and I do believe that muscle must weigh more than fat other wise there would be no explanation how we can work this hard and loose so slllllooooowwwwwllllllyyyy.

HI. Thanks for the encouragement. I know that my husband has lost weight and been working out since he's been gone so I am hoping to be a bit more fit when he gets home too. How is your progress going? Hope you're having a good time in Chicago.
