Hello Everyone, *big smile*

May 7, 2014, my doctor says that I need not lose any more weight. I am taking her advice by sticking to my program so as to better manage my peri-menopause issues.

Good Luck to everyone!

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.

Hi, Daisy!

Thanks for your care and concern! I've read the blogs that you told me to read! How are you and your family? I hope that either you, your hubby or both of you find some sort of income soon! I will be praying that God watches over you all!

Hugs,
Elaine

Oops. The very nice and thank you were for the video and the meal pictures and descriptions. Sounds like a great place to eat. Doubt I will ever get there as I rarely get to local restaurants. I had a great time with the rest of my response, and simply loved your continuing on with your reply.
I will add you, your family and especially your husband to my prayer list. I have just started an new prayer journal... It helps me to remember who I am praying for and why. Please keep me updated so that I can know when prayers have been answered.
I know the Lord will continue to Bless your family. Take care, Stay safe & Comfy. Love and Hugs, Audra

I guess the best you can do is to prepare meals that
he will eat that
are also healthy for him that
also have portion sizes that
will give his tummy a satisfied sensation.
That is a tall order for you...
but the payoff of keeping with you for more years will be well worth the effort.
Sounds like you have your work cut out for you.. encouraging and nudging him to making healthier choices. But ultimately he has to choose to 'Want' to make those choices for himself.. and you get to be there to help him fulfill his choice to make healthier choices. Remember it is NOT just what we eat, it is also moving our bodies.. Like a comment on one of my exercise DVDs the leader says, burning a lot of calories is good for your body whether you are trying to lose weight or not. I didn't put quotes around it because I may not have gotten it down as a perfect quote. We will have to start praying that with God's help your husband comes to "wanting" to make healthier choices for his body. Sorry this rather turned into a long message..
Love and Hugs, Audra

P.S. Maybe asking a prayer circle to pray for DH and his choice to make healthier choices would be a good idea. Prayers work even when the person being prayed for does not know that they are the center of prayers. A.
