May 7, 2014, my doctor says that I need not lose any more weight. I am taking her advice by sticking to my program so as to better manage my peri-menopause issues.

With God's grace, I am coping with my condition much better now.

My Goals:
My goal is to maintain my current weight and stay healthy.


My Program:
Meditate.

Do at least 30 minute walk daily.

Eat a balanced diet.

Drink at least 8 cups of water daily.

Take my soy extract and vitamin D pills daily per my doctor's advice.

Try to have seven to eight hours of sleep.


Personal Information:
I am a Malaysian born Chinese. I just turned 55 on November 23.

Mid 1999, I had to remove half of my thyroid due to a benign cyst.

I started smoking and drinking when I separated with my ex-husband in the mid 80s. Quit drinking 1993. Quit smoking September 2000.

When I was younger, I had two jobs daily. Being the big sister in my family, I had to support my parents, siblings and kids. I have worked all my life until April 2011. Now I welcome the break and treasure spending quality time with my family.

Moved from Malaysia to Illinois, USA in Dec 1999.

Used to like reading novels but now I like reading the Bible.

Used to travel a lot and still wish to travel if wallet permits.

Loves to watch movies.

Now I continue my journey in life to a healthy me.

As far as those apps, you don't need a mobile phone-only for tracking coupons or what you ate. I think you can get a lot of those apps for just your computer! eva

Just stopped by to say "Hello"...
Spring is coming the snow is shrinking... the leaf of a plant that was just a tiny tip protruding up out of the snow a couple of days ago now is showing at least 5-inches above the snow. Before we know it ... it will be lawn mower time once again. Hope you are doing well. I have not seen a recent post on your DH and his injections for pain control.. hope things are working for him. daughter still doing marshal arts? ... and you are still maintaining your goal weight, too...
