My Goals:
My goals are ongoing. My primary goal is to add muscle and gain strength. Go to the gym. Work with PT Ron to achieve my goals.

My long term goal is to get to about 140lbs..in a healthy way. I am not in a hurry.

My plans to reach these goals are to simply follow my nutrition tracker and stay within. Eat healthy food, stay away from take out or processed foods. Cook healthy REAL food at home most of the time. Be selective and suspicious of restaurant foods. I do NOT eat processed foods. Period.

Go to gym a few times a week for strength training and aqua aerobics.

Continue to do daily stretching routine .

Swim in home outdoor pool when the weather permits. Summer only.

Do treadmill daily on off gym days.
Take Paco on short walks outside, he has bad knees.

My Program:
Review my goals frequently and modify as necessary

Drink my water everyday

GOAL: CONTINUE TO HAVE THE COURAGE TO GO TO THE GYM, AND DO JUST WHAT I CAN!

Personal Information:
My name is Phyllis and I live in Mesa, Arizona.

I am 60 and grandmother twice. Hannah and Emma.

Swimming is my passion, relieves my boredom and helps me keep my cool in the HOT summers here in Arizona.

Other Information:
Favorite movie: The Breakfast Club, Ferris Beulers Day Off, Apocalypto

Favorite book: The Clan of the Cave Bear. the Bible

I have played Celtic Harp for 21 years and my challenge is to practice everyday!!

Wow, it's been a month since we chatted! Certainly a sign of how busy I've been lately. Took on a second full-time job, to support the nonprofit I've been chairing for years, since the founder (a dear friend) was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer. She's doing extraordinarily well so far, but can't really keep up with the president and CEO role anymore, so I've stepped into that position. And still running the coaching school full-time, too big juggling act!

Ha ha, congratulations on being able to pull all that skin out! Love those tangible signs.

Until I started doing all this nonprofit work, I also mostly dressed in comfy clothes around the house, working from home. But now that I'm going into a lot of nonprofit organizations (mostly doing things like facilitating strategic planning) I'm having to dress up a lot and need to augment my wardrobe since I didn't have enough good clothes in my current size. The double workload is also eating into my exercise. Burning the candle at both ends, most days I don't have much time, or I'm too depleted to get up and move. Congratulations on all the editing work! My book has been on hold lately, because of both all the work I'm having to crank out, and my writing partner is in the middle of a move. But we have another short writing retreat on the calendar soon, so will be getting back to it before too long.

Keep up the good work! Sounds like you're still on your plan, as am I.

Where do I start? Thank you for all the sweet comments on my pictures. It has been a long, hard journey but I am making it. It's my story and I hope to one day be able to tell it to others and be an encouragement to them.

Also, thanks so much for the sunshine! I need it. We have gotten nothing but rain the last month or so....I'm ready for sunshine. Thanks for the friend add, too! I have added you in return.

We can and will do this!

~Amanda

Half a pound is a half a pound still going in the right direction, even if it's not quite as much as you hoped. And I get how frustrating those slow downs can be. Congratulations for sticking to your ratio so well! That cheese sounds amazing! Cheese is my number one favorite food. So glad that it's still okay on my diet! I had lots and lots of goodies tonight, but all keto friendly. It was my turn to host my book club, and I made them an all LCHF spread. They seemed amazed at all the wonderful things that we can still eat on this diet.
