A HEALTHY, HAPPY NEW PERSON
I am 36 and a mother of a wonderful 3 year old son. I have around 150 pounds to shed. I have tried to lose weight so many times before. I could lose 30 or 40 and then I would go back to my old habits and gain it back plus more. I had a wake up call a few weeks ago. I am 36 and a mother of a wonderful 3 year old son. I have around 150 pounds to shed. I have tried to lose weight so many times before. I could lose 30 or 40 and then I would go back to my old habits and gain it back plus more. I had a wake up call a few weeks ago. I had bloodwork done and the results showed that I am in stage 2 kidney disease. I have to be here for my son so I need to get the weight off and keep it off. Everytime I have lost weight before, it was with diet modification and not exercise. This time I went and bought an elliptical trainer. I put it in my living room. I look at it everyday and think of how much money I spent on it! It is motivation for me to make sure I get my money's worth! LOL And I have noticed a difference in myself. I have asthma but I am able to stay on longer each time. I do not get as winded. I have decided to make sure I do it right this time. I am doing this for me. I do not want to miss a minute of my son's life. Right now I feel I watch him from the sidelines. I do not want him to realize I cannot do things with him or that I won't fit to go down the slide with him. This is the last time I will start to lose weight. I am positive I will finish what I start this time!

My Program:
Eating a maximum of 1500 calories per day. Drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water per day. Exercise a minimum of 30 minutes each day. Share my goals with people that I normally would not.
Personal Information:
I am 36, recently separated and I have an amazing 3 year old son. I teach adult education classes which is a very rewarding occupation.
