I came here hoping to lose quite a lot of weight put on gradually over the last 10 years. Starting weight was 173lbs and I'm hoping to get that down to somewhere between 140 and 147 lbs. Update, February 2012: So I made it to 140lbs (yarooks!) and I find I still need to lose perhaps 3 or 4 more pounds to be utterly svelte. So I'm going to try to do this over the next 3-4 months. March 2012: I buy a pair of cheap jeans that fit me (because all my others are now falling ...

My Goals:
I need to drink way less, eat more and more healthily and start doing some regular exercise ...
My Program:
I like walking, so I am trying to walk every day. Ok, most days :wry grin: I've really cut back on drinking and find I don't really miss it. I use the tracker religiously at the moment to keep in my calorie range and make sure I'm eating in a balanced way. I find the tracker really useful.
Personal Information:
I live in England, a small, wet, misty island off the coast of Europe :-) I'm not working at the moment and my husband is hoping to retire in just a few years. When we are both retired, we hope to travel around Europe in a motor home. Can't wait!
Other Information:
I enjoy reading, films, theatre, playing computer games. None of which is any good for keeping fit or losing weight (!) However, I'm a keen walker but it's not something I like to do alone. Luckily my husband likes to walk too ...
