I'm anxious to return to a healthier body and lifestyle! I use to run and lift weights but suffered a series of injuries and surgeries. Now I'm back together but heavier and out of shape so I'm working on getting back to my better self while avoiding any injuries!

Congrats on lowering your cholesterol- that isn't an easy thing to do! My sister-in-law was on Lipitor but worried about the side-effects she'd read about. She stopped taking it and started eating a bowl of old-fashioned oatmeal mixed with 1% milk, a handful of mixed dried fruit (cooked with the oatmeal), and a little brown sugar for breakfast every morning. Her cholesterol dropped 30 pts. and is now in the healthy range. You've had similar success this year doing what you're doing! emoticon

Hey! I saw your post in some "what did you eat for breakfast" thread, and I had to drop by and say "hi" and "welcome!" :) I agree, real eggs are better than fake eggs. But I don't eat the yolks-- my cholesterol is high (thanks, genes!). But in the past year I've lowered it 28 points, yahoo!

Welcome to SparkPeople!

You can do this, we are all making this happen together here at SparkPeople!

One Day At A Time, One Pound At A Time!

If you are still confused about making the weight ticker, let me know. When you find it in Edit Sparkpage, I think you still have to set your weight on the edit page. And you get the choice of backgrounds and icon.

Hugs,
