I refuse to be a statistic!
So, I have been here since March 2007 and I have fallen off the wagon a time or two but never this bad. The holidays did a real number on me and my health has become a real issue. I am so disappointed in myself. But today, I was watching TV and I heard someone say "Something has to change" and it clicked! FINALLY, I snapped out of my funk and got back on the Fitness horse today. I want to be healthy. It used to be all about looking good and making people jealous but as I get older I realize ...

I am so disappointed in myself. But today, I was watching TV and I heard someone say "Something has to change" and it clicked! FINALLY, I snapped out of my funk and got back on the Fitness horse today. I want to be healthy. It used to be all about looking good and making people jealous but as I get older I realize that it's my health that is the main issue. I have to be healthy for my boys and for my husband. So I set a few goals for myself, just taking it one step at a time right now until I am back in the swing of things. 1)Hold myself accountable by writing down everything I eat before logging in to Spark. Seeing the amount will help me alot. 2)WATER!! NO MORE SOFT DRINKS!!! 80 to 100 oz of water a day! NO EXCUSES!!! 3) Exercise at least 30 minutes a day and start back my strength training. I will have to start off slow and I'll be back to my normal fitness level in no time! I need this for myself and for my family. I don't want to be a statistic anymore. I don't want to be fat anymore, I'm on a journey to find the inner me. It may take a while but I bet she's worth it!
