The New Me

I'm just someone who wants to lose 10-15lbs that have been accompanying me for many years. These extra pounds seem to sit on my brain as well as my waist and have left me without the zest for life that I used to have. I 'm ready to change now and I look forward to doing so with the help and support from all the great people at SparkPeople.
As I get my weight 'on track' I want to begin a fitness program. I tend to be someone who finds it difficult to get out of the house. Once I'm out ...

As I get my weight 'on track' I want to begin a fitness program. I tend to be someone who finds it difficult to get out of the house. Once I'm out I'm very happy but staying in, especially in winter, has become a habit. I like solitude as much as I like mixing with people, dancing, travelling etc., etc. Apart from fitness, I am healthy and happy and have faith that I can achieve my goals in 2012.

My Goals:
1. To lose 15lbs and reach 140 lbs.
2. To begin an exercise program where I can gain a standard of fitness in line with my age.
3. To make the effort to get 'out and about' more than I do so now. More specifics on this later.

My Program:
1. Eat 5 fruit / veg daily
2. Track my food daily
3. Eat mindfully
