Exercise is King, Nutrition is Queen
I am young and there are so many things I want to do in my life! My 25th B'day is just around the corner and I refuse to be flabby when coming next year I celebrate my 26th. I think losing bit of extra weight and becoming fit and toned in process will enable me to experience life more fully..... I have been on and off sparkpeople for a while now. This time I am DETERMINED to make it work. I have been working out consistently for past 3 months. I haven't lost any weight but I am getting bit of muscle mass where it was all fat before. I think my main problem is my diet. I still haven't figured out the calorie range where I will lose weight. Years of bad diet and nutrition seem to have messed up my metabolism or something. Right now I am eating between 1500-1800 clean calories a day and exercise for atleast 30 minutes 5 times a week. This is despite the fact that sparkpeople gave me 1200-1550 as my calorie range. At the recommended level I start getting cravings and am tired all the time. 1500-1800 range I feel works best for me now. I stay at 1500 on my light exercise or rest days and hit 1800 on days when I am really peckish. I am also trying to boost my protein by taking whey powder drinks. This is helping me to stay on lower range of my calories limit. I think for now I will keep working out and increase my intensity levels as my fitness levels improve.
