WOW, I made Sparkpeople Motivator - woohoo~!!! Thank you all so much for your votes. This means a lot to me and I really appreciate all of you for your lovely words of encouragement. I never would've imagined myself motivating anyone 3 years ago.

I first joined Spark People in 2008 but have been a lurker for quite some time. I've become hugely addicted to this community filled with lovely Sparkers. And now... there's no turning back!!

July 9, 2012 (My B-day!):
Being able to maintain my weight and improve my fitness level to get to a happy and healthy new ME = being truly ecstatic to look at myself in the mirror, naked. :) Please be on the lookout for more pics to come, once I get to my goal weight. I CAN'T WAIT!! :-D

My long-term goal:
To look and feel beautiful
To be around for those I care about
To be able to inspire others
To be an active SP member
...even 50 years from now! :)

A bit about me...
I've been overweight for most of my life and it's finally nice to fit into sizes below a 14!! I had a rude awakening when my mother had a seizure and was taken to the hospital. After that, I knew that I had to be around a lot longer for my family. And that's when my journey began...

It started with changing my eating habits, adding in moderate exercise...and pretty soon, I lost 10 lbs. I kept going, adding in strength training and longer sessions of cardio and lost another 20 lbs. It got harder and harder to lose weight, as I got smaller and smaller. Now, I haven't been this light since Jr. High. I figure that since I've come this far, that I can keep going and eventually be at my goal weight.

Don't think I can say this enough (promise you, NOT affiliated) but I LOVE SP. So again, "Cheers! To a healthy, fit and fulfilling life!!"

1) Eating clean
2) Build muscle (under arms, inner thighs, glutes, abs) and lose as much fat as possible!!!

Most of all....
FINALLY BEING 300% HAPPY, HEALTHY AND COMFORTABLE IN MY OWN SKIN!!!

Future goal:
Maintain my weight & muscle-building fitness regime


My Program:
Aiming to workout 6 days a week...

Cardio 3x a week (Circuit Training classes 2x a week and TRY to take up running 1 day a week!!!!)

Strength training (Total Body Conditioning classes) 2-3x a week
