The only way you'll strip away the fat is to start by stripping away the excuses!

The title of this sparkpage is my daily motto. I am a married full time working mom, and I can always come up with 100 excuses not to work out on any given day!

Over the summer of 2009, I started the Couch to 5K running program, and have challenged myself over and over. I soon began spinning classes and riding outdoors, and began swimming. Now I am into Triathlons!

Races done so far:
Peapod 5K 8/22/09
Midtown Fun and Run 5K 9/26/09

What a transformation you have made from that before photo! Love your enthusiasm. Maintenance must be in some ways as hard as reaching there.

Well it sounds like being in India did you good in more ways than one! Not having access to the sweets you want was a great way to banish them!

My ticker goal is just a mini goal. My desired weight is 170-175. I have not seen under 195 in many, many, many years...high school I think, so being at 195.5 is AMAZING! I know it is high to most, but coming from 246...WHEW...what a ride!
