Ok, so tired of the fat and how I feel about myelf. I still visualize the old skinny me of 20 years ago until I look at myself.

Like so many others, I have tried dieting many times over - the last decade I'd loose 10 pounds and fail misserably after that. Dating and being engaged to a guy who liked bigger gals didn't help my battle either - he sabotaged me at every turn. My Goals:
I've carried way too much weight way too long. My goal is to loose a total of 73 pounds. So far I've lost close to 30 lbs. My goal is to focus on permanent life, long changes that will result in the weight coming off slowly, steadily and permanently.

My Program:
Eating 750 calories less a day than my current weight maintance calories. Having fun with Wii Fit at least 5 days a week for a minimum of 30 min (when I have time I do at least 60 min). Also trying to do at least 30 min of cardio 6 days a week.

Personal Information:
My major weight upheaval started in 2000 when I herniated the disc to my legs (L4-L5). I spent most of 2 years in bed before I was finally able to have the surgery. Sadly, I did a lot of eating and not much else. I was convinced when I had the surgery the weight would just start coming off as I was active again - no such luck, the opposite in fact. While the surgery was a huge success, I still have pain and it limites my activies much more than I would like. So I resigned myself to being a big girl - but no more, this weight can and will come off.
