Weight Loss Success Story of a 176lb. 13-year-old Girl

I've always been the fat kid. My weight kept climbing until I was 176 lbs. at age 13. I realized that my weight was just going to keep climbing if I didn't do something. My self-esteem was already bad enough. My family was large too so I had just not learned how to eat correctly. After I started losing weight, my family did too, and they weren't even trying to (except my Mom who was dieting with me).

Now I'm 20, 5'4", and I've lost a total of 39 pounds. I've inspired my family, ...

They've told me that when they see me they think: if little Christina (a child!) can do it then I can too. For the first time that I can remember, I'm now at a normal weight. My next goal is to stay healthy and get fit.

Maybe I will have to try your dads metamucil idea to feel full. Seems like a good idea.

This happens to me all the time. In the past I've had migraines that would go on for a month or more. I have all kinds of migraine medicine I can take, even a narcotic as a last resort. I've had catscans and everything and I don't have any neurological problems that they can see. All the doctors can do is keep prescribing medicine for me. My Dad is the one who figured out that MSG was the main cause of my migraines, but weather also plays a big part. I've had to eliminate caffeine and chocolate is starting to cause problems too.

The weather has been yucky and I've been eating chocolate chip cookies for the past few days. That's probably the reason for my migraines lately.
