i need a little help from my friends

hey guys!! i'm back on sparkepeople!!! although i may not be super active on the site, i have downloaded the app for my ipad so i can get on track! and of course i am looking to all of you for inspiration - you rock!

i hope everyone has been doing well and please leave a note on my board if you want to catch up (i'm terrible at messages)!

i have set up a slower pace so i will be less likely to get frustrated. mini-goals with prizes are the best way to get me focused.

My Goals:
lose 22 pounds and keep it off! i've been learning some healthier habits for myself personally and i hope they get me over this hump! i am going to work SLOW and STEADY to get there...no need to rush it!

my goals:

1st goal: 155 (by 12.2.10)- mani/pedi

2nd goal: 150 (by 2.3.11)-

1 hour moderate cardio
30 min arms & abs
back exercises

tues:
1 hour hard cardio

wed:
1 hour easy cardio/yoga

thursday:
1 hour moderate cardio
45 min legs & butt

friday:
1 hour hard cardio
back exercises

sat:
30 min moderate cardio
1 hour strength training (full body)

sun:
rest day
stretching & back exercises

Personal Information:
i am 28 and have lived in new york city for the past 9 years and love it! i am originally from florida and have a great sister who is at boston university and a 10-year old brother (from russia).

Other Information:
i love theatre and the arts, reading, writing, yoga and brunch...i guess i am just a simple (city) girl.

how are you doing? i'm doing well over here although life is crazy. work is dwindling down for the year, im still doing last minute shopping & not really wanting to buy groceries because im so in and out of town! also, been doing a lot about how i want to start the new year. i'm getting a little bit bored with paleo eating & being so strict....was thinking of doing more "clean" eating as i miss my oats and yogurt!

Hey girl, saw your "status" and wanted to stop by and share my love. I hope you are doing OK....this is a stressful time of year especially if you are in school, hang in there! With all the hussle and bussle of the end of the year I've taken a step back and focused on 1 thing at a time....for me that is nutrition. If I can at least control what I'm putting in my mouth then that is good enough for me. Starting in the new year I will be one step ahead and can slowly start other things as well!

Hey babe! Hope you had a good Thanksgiving! I'm doing DDR on the Wii. They just came out with a new version and it's awesome. The music sucks, but at least it gets me moving and keeps me entertained. Thanks for your support. I couldn't do this without you! xoxo
