Greetings!
As you might guess, I am a mime. I was a mime artist for over 30 years but in recent years slowed down due to an injury, and rediscovered another love: writing. Currently I'm writing a memoir... thirty eight years ago, "inter-racial" marriage was not popular. (it still isn't)
We have two children & seven grandchildren. Everyone is an artist ...singers, actors, writers, dancers...though don't know about the youngest one who was born July (2013). My son is a playwright ...

My son is a playwright and a Playwright Fellow at Julliard. My daughter finished her book & is looking for an agent. I am happy in my life and want to keep enjoying it. Thus exercise and mindful eating.

Hi and thanks for commenting on my blog. I am glad you liked it. I am fascinated by your career as a mime. I think it is a beautiful form of art. I talk way too much so I could never do it. I will be following your blogs to learn more about it. Also I have to say that I might have to borrow the idea for a mad scientist party. Hope you have a wonderful day.

“The whole idea of motivation is a trap. Forget motivation. Just do it. Exercise, lose weight, test your blood sugar, or whatever. Do it without motivation. And then, guess what? After you start doing the thing, that's when the motivation comes and makes it easy for you to keep on doing it.”

"The common conception is that motivation leads to action, but the reverse is true....action precedes motivation. You have to "prime the pump" and get the juice flowing, which motivates you to work on your goals. Getting momentum going is the most difficult part of the job, and often taking the first step is enough to prompt you to make the best of your day."

"Making changes in your life is never an easy task. The key, however, is not to get caught up in the distance you have to go to get to where you want to be. Nor should you despair over the amount of control you have over your circumstances. Progress is made in the small, intentional steps, and chances are, you have more power than you think. By focusing on little steps you can take every day, the progress you make will motivate you to continue your journey, and eventually, you can go wherever you want to go. The important thing is simply to begin."
-Stephen Cherniske
