Welcome to Spark People!! I use the Nutrition tracker to PLAN my meals for the day. I hated it when I'd track as the day went along and things were way out of whack at the end of the day. It was too late to fix it then.
I now put the things I eat all the time in the favorites. I plan the day from that and in 5 minutes, I have 75% of the 3 meals planned. I then supplement with other things as I prepare those meals. Allows for fresh produce I might have found or leftovers that need to be eaten soon!!
I can plan like that a week ahead, copy a whole meal I really like that has another serving left over right into another day's meals. I love that part.
