I have had two surgeries, a knee meniscus and I have a hand issue. I is coming along. I had to have a bone taken out of my wrist. It has been a long time still a month to go to.
HOWEVER, After the surgery I got a cold despite FLU and Pneumonia shots.
There are 5 in our house and we all have colds.
I have done everything except go to the MD. I have been with the PT and the two surgeons.
TONIGHT I sent a message. How nice we both thought of one another. I will look out for our meeting anywhere, Pat in Maine. (((HUGS)))) emoticon emoticon m emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Hi Maryanne,

Thank you for asking about my Fitbit. It is a wrist watch, timer, alarm, gauges steps, records sleep information, how many stairs I encounter, how many calories I burn, my heart rate, and how far I've gone in a day. It is the Fitbit Charge HR. I just love it. Fitbit also has a food database so that you can record your food intake and it will combine with your calorie output, similarly to what is on Spark. The website offers water tracking and other amenities. You can sync it to Sparkpeople if you want to do that too. It has been an eyeopener. They also give you badges when you reach goals, like 10,000 steps. It is very motivating just as the Sparkpeople website is.. The fact that you can link to Sparkpeople is excellent. You get the best of both worlds. I hope this answers your questions. Let me know if you have any more questions about the device. Take care and God bless, Deb
