The right attitude!

I liked this so much that I decided to make it my intro:

Hi Mary Anne! Thank you for stopping by and commenting on my blog. I am really glad to be back. I really needed the break to get my head on straight about some things. But it's so nice to be back again. I missed all of my Spark Friends and it's great to be able to catch up with y'all again! Have a great weekend!

I appreciate you regular comments in my blog.

Yes, in the poultry world there is a pecking order. When you add new birds to the flock or if one passes then the pecking order begins all over again. The roosters rule over the hens and of course the roosters will fight to the death if there's not enough hens to go around.
Typically 8-10 hens per rooster. Lucky guy, eh? emoticon

There's also a top dog. Maggie used to be the Alfa female. When she passed Zuni took over as top dog because Brandi is a passive female. Emma the pup came along and she's always testing Zuni and trying to be the Alfa dog.

Have a nice weekend. emoticon

Thanks for the island goodie. My sister and her hubby came early w/o letting me know far in advance to not let me stress too much. I'm sooooo glad that I cleaned my bathroom and bedroom Monday instead of Tuesday. I figured the rest of the house was "lived in" by I leave my suite for last all the time. Reversing the order of cleaning worked out perfectly. Even got the tables cleaned off before they got here.
Now they are gone, Erik is putting the dishes from the dishwasher away. My 4th child did dishes again, he'd done them Saturday, and I put away all the pots and misc stuff that can't go in the dishwasher this morning while waiting for my coffee. Saw all my children during the week-almost unheard of, we have to have special people staying at mom's for that to happen. DD and family were here Tuesday and all the sons and their families yesterday-minus one DIL who was away on a business trip.
Now I really have to decide if I want to mow the lawn-should-or knit-want to.
Have a blessed day, you and your parents are in my prayers.
