I have been on a "diet" for my entire life it seems. I am turning 37 in a month and it is time for a real life change. I AM committed to doing this once and for all!!!

Well here I am again, not where I want to be and haven't done what I set out to do. Why?Why?Why? I have been exercising like crazy the past few weeks- Thanks Jillian Michaels- and it doesn't seem to be working. I have decided to eat clean. I just read The Clean Diet (although it is not a diet, it is a lifestyle!) and it makes so much sense to me. I also joined the clean diet spark team to help keep me on track. I did eat that way for about 2 weeks when my accupuncturist put me on a cleansing diet. I felt incredible!!! ( and lost 7 lbs!!!) I have decided to return to this way of eating for good- I know it won't be easy as I am easily tempted. I am going to journal here to make myself accountable and rely on the wonderful people here at sparkpeople to help me get through.
I can't wait for my journey to a new and healthier me to begin!!

I won a month's memebership free to my local gym through a raffle- so NO MORE EXCUSES!! Going straight from work to the gym... always came home with the intent to exercise, but ended up cooking, cleaning and dealing with child's homework!!! It is time I put myself first. I will leave my daughter in the afterschool program for an extra hour (I have to keep telling myself she will be fine!) so that I can give myself the time to do what I need for myself (for once)....

My Goals:
My goal is to be fit and healthy. I want to lose about 20-25 pounds and be comfortable with myself.

My Program:
I am trying to eat healthy foods and to exercise on a regular basis. I will follow the eact clean plan.

Other Information:
I like to read, shop, watch movies, and spend time with my family which includes my husband, my six-year old, and a dog.

I'm about 6 weeks into Paleo and it's the best thing I could have done for myself! Congrats on you wt loss too.
