Feeling good

A lot has changed since I first joined this site in 2007.

I've rejected diet/exercise regimes and external rewards. I'm eating mindfully and exercising simply because it feels good. I never thought I could lose weight this way, but I can! Never have I felt better or had greater success.

Ohhh! How funny! For some reason it showed up on your page when I first looked at your page, but NOW when I look, it's gone! That's really wacky, but now at least I know! emoticon

Hey, Lady! "Sad and happy to be home" meaning you're back in Ottawa, or just back at your flat in the UK? I fell out of the loop and need to catch up!

I know that you are not required to have vehicle insurance on a bicycle. However if you are on the roadway on a bicycle you must obey all laws of the road. Since it was a accident on the road caused by the bicyclist not obeying the Law, plus the Police Accident reform requirements and that was the only information I had, the insurance company did the rest.

I know if a 10 year old did this, they still would have gotten the citation, however I am quessing the child's parents would be contacted.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my blog. I hope you do not mind that I have added you as an SP Friend. If you wish, you can add me as an SP Friend also.

Concerning the insurance...... The bicyclist hit my car after running the stop sign and since the bicyclist was operating a vehicle, the responding Policeman filled out an vehicle accident form that required the driver's license and insurance information for all parties involved, we had to supply them. The bicyclist could not provide either. When I got the Police Report and contacted State Farm, they handled it. I did not have to pay a deductible. Plus this occurred in the USA, State of Maryland, Anne Arundel County. I do not know what the laws are in Canada or the UK.

I see humor in most of my daily life’s situations so I try to be funny most of the time. I believe that it is mentally stimulating and spiritually uplifting to try view my life in a funny manner. I play a humor brain game and it makes me happy. I try to be funnier than I look, which is a huge task.

All of my attempts at humor are true and I view my style as a machine gun approach; I will put a number of attempts out there and hope that someone besides me finds at least one funny. My problem is I find them all funny.

I think the author Mark Twain said it best when he wrote, "The best way to cheer yourself is to try to cheer someone else up."
