I have one more year left of university - and that's glorious because my university career has been notably longer than average. My convocation will be in June 2013 (fingers crossed!) and I want to have reached my goal by the time I walk across the stage for my degree.

I've always been a healthy eater but I don't find standard gym exercising to be particularly thrilling. Let's see if there's a better way to get it done!

My Goals:
-Feel energetic and confident when I cross the stage for my University degree next June!

-Be fit and healthy enough to go on a multi-country backpacking trip

-Feel good enough every day to take on any challenges, opportunities and adventures that may arise

-Be happy and love myself!


My Program:
-Eating healthfully, for nutrients, not just calorie deficiency

-Exploring types of exercise that are more fun than the standard gym routine (Rollerblading, biking, rock-wall climbing, etc.)

-Gradually increasing the length and intensity of exercises

-Forgiving myself for setbacks, NEVER guilting myself and remembering that I am human and that nobody is perfect!


Milestones I want to hit:

-10 full (not modified) pushups in a row

-1.5 hour bike ride

-2 hour bike ride

-2.5 hour bike ride

-3 hour bike ride

-Climb the York Steps without feeling winded

-Lose 5% of my starting weight (8.25 lbs/3.74 kg)

-Lose 10% of my starting weight (16.5 lbs/7.48 kg)

-Lose 15% of my starting weight (24.75 lbs/11.23 kg)

-Maybe lose 20% of my starting weight (33.0 lbs/15.0 kg), depending on how I feel at this point
